Old-Fashioned County Fair

  • Barron County Historical Society's Pioneer Village Museum 1866 13 1/2 14th Avenue Cameron, WI, 54822 United States (map)

Immerse yourself in some good old fashioned fun. Carnival games, contests of skill, clowning, face painting, and juggling are just a sample of what you can expect. Take part in a horseshoe tournament. Cheer on a team during Sunday’s Vintage Baseball games. Witness some rope tricks. The list goes on and on.

Just for fun, enter your artwork, sewing, fancy work, photography, garden crops, canned goods, baked goods, flowers or a woodworking project, to compete with your friends and neighbors for a ribbon and bragging rights. Entries will be accepted from 10 am – 12 pm. Judging will begin at noon. If you have any questions, please call us at 715-458-2080.

Other events include a BBQ Chicken Dinner, an Old Tractor and Vehicle Parade, Bingo, Pie and Ice Cream Social, and a Sunday morning Church Service.

New this year! The Pioneer Village Museum will host a state-sanctioned pedal tractor pull during the Old-Fashioned County Fair on Saturday, August 17th! This is a great event for your young tractor enthusiasts to participate in.
