The Barron County Historical Society was established in 1960 with a mission to collect, preserve, and share the unique heritage of Northwest Wisconsin, in order to honor our ancestors, enrich lives, and inspire future generations.

Pioneer Village Museum

Pioneer Village Museum has a collection of 40-plus buildings and structures, some dating back to the 19th century, that house, display and preserve historical artifacts.

Turtle Lake Museum

The Turtle Lake Museum has multiple buildings and outdoor exhibits to tour. Open June - September, 2nd & 3rd weekends. 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
